Los Pinos Peak is a 4,455-foot summit in Southern California’s Santa Ana Mountains, about 8 miles east of Rancho Santa Margarita, within Cleveland National Forest. It is the southernmost peak in the range to rise above 4,000 feet and stands out as a prominent landmark above the main crest, visible across much of southern Orange County despite having only about 610 feet of topographic prominence. From its summit, views reach south toward San Diego and the Pacific Ocean and, on clear days, east to the San Jacinto and San Bernardino mountains. It is accessible by Main Divide Road and by trails through Trabuco and Hot Springs canyons.
