The first I.O.O.F. meeting was held on May 2, 1878. The first Rebekah meeting was held on May 2, 1888. On July 7, 1892, the original building burned and was rebuilt with the I.O.O.F. taking ownership. A rededication of the hall was held on March 3, 1893.
