Millbrook Veterans Monument honors veterans of the Town of Washington who served in the country’s defense in World War II, the Korean War, and the Vietnam War, and preserves the memory of those who died. It records extensive rolls of local service members for 1941 to 1945, 1950 to 1955, and 1964 to 1975, with starred names marking the dead. The monument was erected in 1952 by Parker-Haight Post 260 of the American Legion and friends, with additional plaques listing veterans of the Korean War and the Vietnam War.
