The Oscar Elm is a registered Ulmus americana 115 feet tall with a girth of 19.5 feet, a healthy and still-growing survivor of the Dutch Elm plague. In New York State, the only taller elm is in Fulton County at 140 feet tall with a girth of 15.7 feet. No elm in New York or New England, and only about two dozen in the USA, exceed Oscar in both height and girth.
