Transportation
4
The Caldersburgh Pearl was dedicated in 2001 as a full-sized replica of a three-cabin canal freighter measuring 65 feet by 14 feet. Its name joined two parts of Roscoe's past: Caldersburgh, the original community of early Roscoe founded in 1816, and Pearl, the first name of local canal boat captain Pearl R. Nye, who lived from 1872 to 1950.
