Okaloosa County's veterans memorial honors those who made the supreme sacrifice in all wars, including prisoners of war and those missing in action. For World War I, the named dead are William R. Cain, George O. Harris, Oscar Cederstrom, Horace J. Henderson, Ernest Copeland, Ralph E. Hooten, Will Copeland, Willie P. Miller, William C. Cutts, Jessie J. Paul, Jesse P. Davis, Shed Pugh, Erb Godwin, and Oscar E. Wilson, all identified with the USA. For World War II, Korea, Vietnam, and all other conflicts, the memorial refers to lists of veterans, and under Korea it also names Roy Weeks, Edge, identified as W. A. USAF, and Lamon Day, identified with the USA.
