Twin Bridges State Park, now the Twin Bridges Area at Grand Lake State Park, sits on the north side of Grand Lake o' the Cherokees in northeastern Oklahoma and is named for the two U.S. Highway 60 bridges crossing nearby lake arms. Known for its quiet rural setting, it is a popular fishing destination for trophy-sized bass, catfish, bluegill, and spoonbill, with a fishing center, enclosed dock, boat ramps, and easy lake access. The area also offers picnic grounds, campgrounds, playgrounds, group shelters, and simple lakeside huts. Its Paddlefish Research & Processing Center also ties recreation here to fisheries management and biological research.
