Feliciana
History
4
Feliciana was the site of a settlement established in the 1830s. By 1838 it had become the most important trading point in the county. After a State Road was built through Feliciana in 1845, it became one of the greatest commercial centers in western Kentucky. The community remained prominent until it was bypassed by the railroad in 1858 and was abandoned as business interests moved to other towns.
