New Castle Range Front Light is a lighthouse on the Delaware River near New Castle, Delaware, serving as the front beacon in a pair of range lights that guide river traffic. The original range lights were erected in 1876 as wooden towers, with the rear light attached to the keeper’s quarters and the front light standing separately. In 1964, the original front tower was demolished and replaced with a steel skeletal tower. The present structure, like the matching rear tower, remains an active navigational aid and is not open to the public.
