Gwinn Mountain
Nature
Gwinn Mountain is a summit in West Virginia that rises to 2,949 feet, making it the state's 383rd highest summit. It was named for Andrew Gwinn, an early settler. Although little else is recorded here, the mountain's name preserves a connection between the landscape and the people who first settled the area.
