The Rogue–Umpqua Divide Wilderness is a federally protected wilderness area in the Klamath Mountains of southwestern Oregon, spanning parts of the Rogue River–Siskiyou and Umpqua National Forests. Established by Congress in 1984, it covers 33,200 acres along the ridge separating the Rogue and Umpqua river systems west of Crater Lake National Park. Its terrain rises from about 3,000 feet to 6,783 feet at Fish Mountain and includes volcanic and sedimentary rock outcrops. Dense forests of conifers cover much of the area, with notable old-growth stands along the Acker Divide and Cripple Camp trails. Valued for hiking, camping, wildlife watching, and ridge-top travel, it contains about 100 miles of trails, including the Rogue–Umpqua Divide National Recreation Trail.
