A Mountain Soldier of World War II assists a Soldier of the 10th Mountain Division (Light). The work was a gift of veterans of the 10th Mountain Division, soldiers of the 10th Mountain Division (Light) at Fort Drum, New York, families and friends of the division, and companies and contractors at Fort Drum. It was dedicated on October 4, 1991, at Fort Drum, New York. Arthur F. Thompson (F-86) served as chairman, Arthur F. Muschler (B-604) served as president, Susan Grant Raymond was the sculptress, and the National Association of the 10th Mountain Division was involved.
