The original World War II Honor Roll monument was erected by the Wentzville Community Club in 1944 at their pavilion on Pearce Boulevard to honor the men and women from Wentzville who served in the war. In 1963, when the property was sold, the monument was disassembled. It has since been re-created by the Historical Society, with help from the Wentzville Community Club and other individuals and organizations, to again honor those who made sacrifices for freedom.
