Glover’s Brigade was part of a division under Brig. General John Glover and included the 1st Massachusetts Infantry commanded by Col. Joseph Vose, the 4th Massachusetts Infantry commanded by Col. William Shepard, the 13th Massachusetts Infantry commanded by Col. Edward Wigglesworth, and the 15th Massachusetts Infantry commanded by Col. Timothy Bigelow.
