Enfield honored the men who on land and sea periled their lives for union and liberty from 1861 to 1865, recording those killed in battle, those who died from wounds, and those who died in service at Andersonville Prison, Georgia, and later honored those who gave their lives in the Great War for world-wide liberty from 1917 to 1919, naming those killed in action and those who died in service, including Red Cross nurse Julia Elizabeth Malia, as well as another roll of honor listing additional men who died in service.
