Founded in 1777 as the German Church Beyond Muddy Creek, this congregation was named Gerber's Church in 1813. Its graveyard and old church site stand a quarter mile east. It has been called Shiloh since circa 1860, and the present sanctuary was built in 1883. It is the oldest congregation in Lewisville.
