KATY Caboose Number 109 was given to the City of Oswego, Kansas by the Union Pacific Railroad in memory of former president and board vice-chairman Carl Raymond Gray and Harriette Flora Gray, a native of the Oswego area, who were married here in 1888. It was dedicated on October 8, 1989. This park is dedicated to Hobart Holmberg Young, 1900 - 1989, a lifelong railroader who was raised in Oswego and always cherished his hometown, in loving tribute from his family and friends, and was dedicated on October 9, 1989.
