The National Motorcycle Museum in Anamosa, Iowa, was a non-profit institution dedicated to preserving the history and culture of motorcycling. Founded in 1989 by builders, racers, and riders, it assembled more than 300 motorcycles spanning over a century, including vintage machines from 1903, along with thousands of photographs, postcards, posters, documents, and other memorabilia. Representing American, Japanese, British, and other European makers, the collection served as both a vehicle museum and an archive of motorcycle life. After moving to a larger building in 2010 and reopening in June 2011, it remained a noted Iowa attraction until its permanent closure on September 5, 2023.
