Lyman Mountain is an Oregon summit rising to 2,720 feet. It lies northwest of Medford and east of Grants Pass, among the named high points between the Rogue Valley and the Grants Pass area. In 1894, the mountain took its name from George S. Lyman, a local apple orchard owner. Although little more is recorded here about its history, the mountain remains a recognized feature of the regional landscape.
