The patriotic people of Shamokin and vicinity and the members of Major General Guy V. Henry Camp No. 11, United Spanish War Veterans, honored the valor and patriotism of the men who served in the war with Spain, the Philippine Insurrection, and the China Relief Expedition, and dedicated this tribute on August 12, 1938.
