Sunset State Beach is a California state beach on Monterey Bay near Watsonville, managed by the California Department of Parks and Recreation and presented here as a state park. Stretching about 1.5 miles along the bay, it occupies a coastal setting beside large agricultural fields west of Watsonville. Manresa State Beach lies immediately to the north, placing it within a broader reach of protected shoreline on this part of the coast.
