Bear Paw Ski Bowl is a small ski area in north-central Montana on the east side of Elk Mountain along the Hi-Line, serving skiers mainly from Havre and the nearby Rocky Boys Indian Reservation in the Chippewa Cree Recreation Area. Operating since 1959, it has been developed gradually by the Chippewa Cree Tribe and the Snow Dance Ski Association, a volunteer nonprofit that manages it with the Eagle Creek Ski Patrol. Owned by the tribe, it remains closely tied to the local community. Its modest layout includes a tow rope, a two-person chairlift, and 24 unrated runs, and it continued its long local tradition after a temporary closure in 1993–1994.
