Rapps Bridge, or Rapps Dam Bridge, is a historic wooden covered bridge on Rapps Dam Road in East Pikeland Township, Pennsylvania. Built in 1866 by Benjamin F. Hartman, it is one of fifteen surviving covered bridges in Chester County and one of three that span French Creek. Its 105-foot Burr truss, fieldstone abutments, horizontal siding, and boxed cornices reflect the typical form of a 19th-century rural American bridge. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1973, it remains both an engineering survivor and local landmark despite major damage from a tractor trailer in 2014, followed by repairs and reopening in 2015.
