The Candelabrum is a steep sandstone tower in Arches National Park's Park Avenue area in eastern Utah, rising to about 4,700 feet above sea level and standing roughly 300 feet above the nearby trail with an abrupt profile carved by erosion. Composed of Entrada Sandstone, with the Slick Rock Member over the Dewey Bridge Member, it drains through Courthouse Wash toward the Colorado River in a high desert, cold semi-arid landscape. The formation also holds a place in climbing history through first ascents made in 1986 and gained wider recognition from a brief appearance in the opening scene of the 1989 film Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade.
