The Otto Reinke Building was erected in 1879, three years after Round Rock’s expansion began with the railroad’s arrival. Over time, successive tenants included stores, a physician, and restaurants. After fire gutted the building in 1963, architect Martin S. Kermacy and his wife, Evelyn, built a modern interior within its Victorian Italianate walls.
