Ramona Falls is a waterfall on the upper Sandy River on the west side of Mount Hood in Oregon, set in forest along the Pacific Crest Trail at about 3,560 feet elevation. In this high-mountain landscape shaped by the river and the volcano’s western slopes, the falls descend about 120 feet overall. Rather than dropping in a single vertical plunge, the water spreads across rock in a broad, fan-like wall of cascades. That form, together with the wooded approach and its location near one of the Northwest’s best-known long-distance trails, makes Ramona Falls a distinctive destination on Mount Hood’s west side.
