Covington County War Memorial in West Covington County Veterans Memorial Park bears the names of those who made the supreme sacrifice in defense of the nation, offering honor and eternal rest to those who died, gratitude and peace to those who returned, and remembrance and hope to those in service. Its north side lists Covington County dead of World War I and its east side lists those lost in the Korean War, the Vietnam War, and other conflicts, including Lebanon and Desert Storm.
