It names Civil War soldiers killed in action: Jacob Ane, Benjamin W. Barton, John Cassell, James F. Cole, Josephus Cordray, Seymour Davis, James W. Dewar, Annanias Dunn, James Dwiggins, Julius Evans, Martin W. Griffee, Edward J. Hickey, James Holden, Jasper Jackson, Charles C. Macham, Hugh McMurry, Alex Morton, David Powell, Robert Sharpe, John V. Shipley, Washington Spence, W. H. H. Sprague, John W. Weaver, John Williams, George Wolford, and Adam Yaest. It names World War II soldiers killed in action: Joseph E. Corder, Herman L. Frazier, Ronald S. Gannon, Paul Holdsworth, Burvil E. Lacy, James W. Mullinnex, Arthur E. Myers, Norman E. Park, and Okey M. Myer, and lists G. Russell Gibson as missing in action. It names John E. Mattingly as killed in action in the Vietnam War and Bradley Harper as killed in action in Iraq. It also includes a Muskingum County, Ohio, World War II and Korean War commemorative bell, with county totals showing 9,053 served and 265 died in World War II, 1,200 served and 25 died in the Korean War, and dedications dated May 28, 2001, and 2003.
