Built between 1871 and 1874, this building’s lower floor housed the jewelry stores of Brandts, Robinsons, Royals, and Runyans. Its original clock tower was later removed. From 1820 to 1853, the area in front held two courthouses, one wooden and one rock, as well as part of the town well and cistern.
