Nasketucket Bay State Reservation is a protected coastal area in Mattapoisett, Massachusetts, managed by the Massachusetts Department of Conservation and Recreation. Along the southeast Massachusetts shoreline, it preserves 210 acres of rocky shore, open fields, and wooded trails around Nasketucket Bay. Once intended for housing development, the land still shows traces of those plans in its main trail, which loosely follows the original owner’s driveway, and in openings that were meant for house sites. It has since returned to a more natural state and is now used for walking, with a trail running from the parking area at the northeast corner south toward the rocky beach.
