Lindenhurst Memorial Village Hall was rededicated on Memorial Day, 1983 in honor of all veterans of the U.S. Armed Forces, with special recognition for Lindenhurst residents who gave their lives in Korea and Vietnam: Adam J. Muller in Korea, and in Vietnam Peter J. Brancato, Alexander Chisholm, James R. Cooper, Michael E. Davis, Joseph J. DiLandro, Robert A. Dorner, Alf E. Erickson, John J. Healy, David A. Johnson, William P. Kastendieck, Edward N. Leonard, Wayne J. Marquardt, Charles E. Molano, Edmund A. O'Connor, Thomas Poldino, Robert J. Reginald, Timothy J. Shelton, Donald Testa, and Raymond Widmann.
