Henniger Farm Covered Bridge, also called Dauphin County Bridge No. 43, carries a road over Wiconisco Creek in Washington Township, Pennsylvania. Built around 1850, it is the only covered bridge still located entirely within Dauphin County. The single-span bridge is 72 feet long, with a 16-foot-wide deck and 11 feet of clearance, and it uses a combination Burr and double-arch truss suited to rural travel. Its uncommon survival in the county gives it special local importance, and that significance was recognized by its listing on the National Register of Historic Places in 1978. It remains a notable part of Pennsylvania’s covered-bridge and transportation heritage.
