Its greenhouse sections include ferns, bromeliads, cycads, orchids, carnivorous plants, herb and spice plants, and cacti and other succulents, with a butterfly garden outside. Since at least 2005, it has been regarded as a hidden public garden while continuing to serve academic purposes.
