Around 1910, the center of Bellingham included the old Thayer Store and Post Office, a building that still stands directly across from the Town Hall. In the background stood a house that was part of the Walnut Farm Dairy, and the present-day Town Common lies directly behind it. Trolley tracks were clearly visible in the foreground.
