The Louis Arriandeaux Log House is the oldest log cabin in Dubuque County. Built about 1827, it was occupied by the pioneer settler William Newman in 1834. It was brought to this site and restored through the efforts of Frederick E. Bissell, Sr., aided by interested citizens and members of the Dubuque Park Board.
