The men and women of Pickaway County who served in Vietnam and during the Vietnam era answered duty's call when the torch of freedom flickered in the hands of a people few understood. They left the peace and security of their homeland to stem the rising tide of tyranny, and some paid the supreme sacrifice. Their service calls for consideration of the price of liberty, recognition of the fallen, and remembrance of the living, so that all veterans of all wars are not forgotten.
