Howe Covered Bridge in Tunbridge, Vermont, carries Belknap Brook Road over the White River and survives as one of five covered bridges in the town, part of a notable group of nineteenth-century bridges in this area. Built about 1879, it is a single-span multiple Kingpost truss bridge 75 feet long, with a narrow roadway for one lane of traffic. Set on dry-laid stone abutments with concrete wingwalls, it has timber trusses reinforced by vertical iron rods. Its vertical board siding, sided portals, and gabled metal roof reflect traditional New England covered-bridge construction. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1974.
