Ferne Clyffe State Park is a 2,430-acre Illinois state park near Goreville in southern Illinois, operated by the Illinois Department of Natural Resources. Created from land the state bought from Emma Rebman in 1949, it later shifted from its original Goreville entrance to a safer access on Illinois Route 37 in the early 1980s. The park also links by spur to U.S. Bicycle Route 76, though that route has seen little use since 1982. Its significance lies in its rugged southern Illinois setting of limestone bluffs, woods, cliff caves, seasonal waterfalls, and Ferne Clyffe Lake, formed after a late-1950s dam project and filled by 1960.
