Ramey Mound is an Adena archaeological earthwork complex in Bath County, northeastern Kentucky, known for more than two centuries. Centered on an enclosure recorded in 1807 as at least 3 feet high, the site also included four associated mounds identified in an 1871 survey. A nearby brook rises within the site and crosses the enclosure, and surveyors suggested its channel may have supplied earth for construction. Cultivation in the late 19th century wore the earthwork down until it was nearly indistinguishable, though still visible in 1932. Named for property owner Emma Ramey, it was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1998 and is Bath County’s only listed archaeological site.
