Near this spot, Henry Allshouse was laid to rest in 1836. He was a Revolutionary soldier and a member of the Pennsylvania Assembly for 20 years. His son Isaac was also laid here. In 1945, this stone was erected by E. E. Allshouse, great-grandson of Henry, grandson of Isaac, and son of Henry II.
