Pixley Falls State Park is a 375-acre New York state park in the town of Boonville, centered on Pixley Falls, a 50-foot waterfall reached by a short hiking trail. Open year-round, it combines the falls with steep wooded hills and a mountain trout stream. Visitors use the park for picnicking, hiking, fishing, seasonal hunting, and cross-country skiing. A nature trail follows the ruins of the 19th-century Black River Canal, adding an industrial-history element to the setting. Now a day-use park, it ended camping in 2010. Its significance lies in its easy access to a notable waterfall amid forest, water, and canal-era remains.
