Kirk Hardware is a Late Folk Victorian building constructed circa 1900 as two structures, with Brinson's Dry Goods and Shoe Store on the east side and Kirk Hardware on the west side. Kirk later expanded into both sides, and the building was later operated by Rowland, Garrett, Reynolds, and Nelson. The Earl Stone family refurbished it in 2015, and Blue August was established there as a venue for weddings and community events. It is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
