Volcano, The Blast Coaster was introduced in 1998 and by 2000 was still the world's first and fastest suspended blast coaster. Riders are blasted 155 feet vertically through the mouth of an active volcano. It is the world's first linear-induction suspended roller coaster. The mountain was originally constructed in 1979 with three rides: the Land of Dooz, later Smurf Mountain; The Voyage to Atlantis, later the Haunted River; and The Time Shaft.
