The building at 800 Main Street originated in the early 20th century, although its exterior has since been heavily altered. It housed numerous meat markets and butcher shops, including the Henry Hagenbuch Meat Market, George Bichelmeyer Meats, and most recently Pyle Meat Co. Inc. Livestock pens south of the building served its slaughterhouse.
