Cyrus M. Molyneux built this cabin in the Black Hills in 1888. In 1896 it was moved to North Fork in Haakon County, where three terms of school were held in it with Molyneux as teacher. Allen Gee donated the cabin, and its reconstruction on the Museum plot was completed in 1982 with funding from the Mary Chilton D.A.R. Foundation.
