Jeffrey Ford of the Trumbull County Historical Village Committee wanted to add buildings to the village and envisioned a structure showcasing the historic taverns of Trumbull County. He brought this idea to Millcraft Barns of Millersburg, Ohio, and the company, impressed by his enthusiasm and dedication, donated a building to serve as the saloon. Construction took place in the spring of 2022, and Jeffrey Ford and his brother Scott Ford designed and accessorized the interior, working countless hours to make the saloon a reality. Their efforts led to the name Ford Bros Saloon.
