Lake Cascade State Park in Idaho consists of multiple units around Lake Cascade, a 27,000-acre reservoir on the North Fork of the Payette River in Valley County. Covering 500 acres in all, the park provides shoreline access and recreation throughout the year. Its facilities include 279 campsites in 10 developed campgrounds and six boat ramps. Visitors come for summer and winter activities such as hiking, fishing, ice fishing, skiing, boating, and bird watching. The area is also valued for its wildlife, including waterfowl, songbirds, birds of prey, large mammals, and fish such as rainbow trout, coho salmon, smallmouth bass, and perch.
