H. Tom Kight, Jr., born at Claremore, Oklahoma, in the heart of the Will Rogers country, was honored as a faithful public servant for his many achievements, serving as Claremore city attorney from 1935 to 1945, as state senator from 1950 to 1954, and as a member of the State Highway Commission in 1955 and chairman in 1956.
