Dodge Ridge Ski Area is a mountain resort near Pinecrest in California’s Sierra Nevada that has served as an accessible skiing destination for Northern California since its founding in 1950. Located in Stanislaus National Forest near Highway 108, it became known through long family ownership as a regional, family-oriented resort with a loyal following rather than a destination-scale operation. With 862 skiable acres, 67 runs, 12 lifts, and terrain for a range of skill levels, it also offers lessons and terrain parks. Expanded base facilities and newer tubing, sledding, mountain biking, disc golf, and light snowmaking have strengthened its role as an all-season recreation area.
