Holts Landing State Park is a 205-acre bayfront recreation area on Indian River Bay in Delaware, created from the former Holt family farm and boat landing after the state bought the property in 1957 and opened the park in 1965. Its history reaches back to Native use of the inland bays and later farming and seafood harvesting by settlers. The park is known for shoreline access, crabbing, clamming, fishing, kayaking, trails, campsites, and wildlife, and its 2016 boat ramp provides the only public boat and kayak access on the south shore of Indian River Bay between Millsboro and Indian River Inlet. After years of neglect, local volunteers helped restore and improve it by 2015.
